Rice Krispie Squares are a classic family treat that are incredibly easy to make. I like this variation, which uses Cheerios, and is drizzled with chocolate.

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter
5 cups mini marshmallows
3 cups Rice Krispies
3 cups Cheerios
1 tbsp vanilla
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions

Grease a 9×13 pan.

In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla. Add the Cheerios and Rice Krispies and stir until mixed.

Using a greased spoon, pour the mixture into the pan, and press it down evenly. Let cool.

While the squares are cooling, melt the chocolate in the microwave. Drizzle it over the squares.
